The Lankadeepa newspaper reports that it has become very difficult to maintain hospitals due to the fact that more than 6,000 people in the health service have contracted corona.
In this context, the report states that within the next two weeks, Sri Lanka will not be second to the situation prevailing in India in recent times.
The report further states that the number of infected patients in many hospitals has exceeded their capacity and there is a shortage of space in mortuaries.
