Minister S.M Chandrasena has stated that Finance Minister Basil Rajapaksa has told the ruling party group that there is no shortage of dollars in the country.

He said that dollar traders were trying to create a shortage of dollars in the country.

He said the finance minister knew about the dollars and did not know about those in the opposition, adding that traders were creating a shortage to sell more of their dollars.
He said he would take care of the dollars and that no one should worry about it.
