Teachers deflated the vehicle of Nissanka Senadhipathi

The vehicle of Nissanka Senadhipathi, the Chairman of Avangard has been deflated in front of the Presidential Secretariat this afternoon.

He was involved in a problem during a protest by teachers’ principals in front of the Presidential Secretariat demanding their pay rises.

At that moment, the protesters blocked the Senadhipathis vehicle which was entering the Presidential Secretariat.

Several people were seen trying to inflate the tires of his vehicle.

The protesters have been in talks with the secretary to the president and have since stated that the strike will continue.

The union leaders also said they would continue to boycott online teaching.
