Sri Lanka’s banking system will be collapse overnight – Champika Ranawaka

Samagi Jana Balawega MP Champika Ranawaka says that the current financial crisis in Sri Lanka is not a short term but a result of a situation that has developed over a long period of time.

He said the current crisis was due to a lack of foreign exchange and that this situation would turn into a shortage of local currency and a collapse in the local market.

He pointed out that according to international financial rating agencies, Sri Lanka is now below the high risk zone and the next only region to be bankrupted zone.

He says that the entire banking system of Sri Lanka could collapse in the near future and in two months there will be a permanent famine in Sri Lanka. He commented in an interview with an youtube channel
