Women who received both doses at the same time spoke to the media
The woman who faced the incident of giving both Moderna vaccines simultaneously in the Peradeniya area expressed her views to the media yesterday (22). Priyanka Kumari, a 51-year-old mother of four from the Augustawatta area in Peradeniya had been given both doses of the Moderna vaccine at the same time during the vaccination drive held on July 20 at the Udaperadeniya Youth Corps Center. Rishad Bathiudeens wifes brother arrested for raping underaged girl.
Police has arrested a brother of the wife of Samagi Jana Balawega MP Rishad Bathiudeen. Police Media Spokesman DIG Ajith Rohana stated that the arrest was made in connection with the rape of a 22 year old girl who was a servant at the MP’s official residence. An interrogation of a woman who had previously worked as a maid at the MP’s house while she was working as a servant has revealed the relevant rape. The 47-year-old suspect has been arrested and will be produced before court after questioning.
