The Chinese Embassy in Colombo says that the results of the PCR tests conducted at a leading private hospital in Colombo to diagnose corona infections are unacceptable.

Therefore, the Embassy states that the approval of the PCR tests conducted by that private hospital on Sri Lankans will be revoked.

The embassy said the decision was taken because several people who have been confirmed not to be infected by recent tests at the hospital were reported as Infected in China.

The Chinese embassy said the new decision would take effect on July 13 in the interests of all parties.
