It is reported that some private medical laboratories charging high prices for the detection of corona infections by using NS 1antigen testing in Marawila, Chilaw, and Anamaduwa.
According to the reports, Private medical laboratories charge a maximum of Rs. 1,200 for such tests.
The Puttalam Consumer Affairs Authority has taken legal action in this regard and cases will be filed against these institutions in the Marawila, Chilaw and Anamaduwa Magistrate Courts in the future,
