The International Anti-Drug Day is today – There are nearly four and a half million people are using heroin and cannabis in Sri Lanka

The National Dangerous Drugs Control Board says that there are nearly four and a half million people in the country who use heroin and cannabis.

A survey conducted by the board has revealed this information.

The International Anti-Drug Day falls today (26) and the Board has taken steps to implement a number of programs in this regard.

The theme of this year’s International Anti-Drug Day is “Share Accurate Information – Save Lives”.
