The martial art Angampora will be uplift as a sport – Namal Rajapaksa

Namal Rajapaksa, Minister of Sports and Youth Affairs states that he hopes to uplift the martial art of Angampora as a sport and promote it throughout the country and the world.

He also says that the ‘Angampora’ martial art of the country has been secretly active since it was banned during the colonial period.

He has stated this in a post on his social media account after a discussion with local Angampora artists.
