Indian military predator drones will be impose near Sri Lankan air border against China.

The Indian Navy says it is using predator drones to increase its surveillance in the Indian Ocean region, including near Sri Lanka, as Chinese activities in the region pose a threat to India’s security.

The drones will assist the Indian Coast Guard as well as the Indian Navy, the Navy said.

Vice Admiral G.S. Ashok Kumar said the drones would help focus more on navigating vessels, especially in the ocean region.

It further stated that India is planning to purchase 30 drones from the United States to enhance its land and maritime security due to the escalating tensions with neighbouring China and Pakistan.
