Four people arrested while protesting with the slogan “Dan Spada”

Four people have been arrested in Galle for protesting against the increase in fuel prices.

The suspects were apprehended while riding in a bucky cart with placards.

The arrested persons include a Galle District Organizer of the Samagi Youth Force.

According to the police, four persons have been arrested for violating travel restrictions..

They were arrested on their way to town from near the Magolla bridge, police said
