Social media reports that a group of backbenchers of the Sri-Lanka People’s Front will take action to support or abstain from voting on the no-confidence motion filed by the Samagi Jana Balawega against Energy Minister Udaya Gammanpila.
However, backbenchers told the media that nothing was discussed about the no-confidence motion during the discussion held at the PA office today.
The Samagi Janabalawegaya is signing a no-confidence motion against Minister Gammanpila on 10 charges including increasing fuel prices.
