A decision of the Ministry of Finance regarding the sale of liquor online?

The recommendations of the Ministry of Finance regarding allowing consumers to purchase liquor through an online system are due to be issued today (June 16)

According to the Excise Department, there have been several requests to make it possible to purchase liquor online through supermarkets.

Accordingly, the Excise Department has made recommendations and observations regarding the relevant requests to the Ministry of Finance.

Excise Media Spokesman Commissioner of Excise Kapila Kumarasinghe stated that further action will be taken as per the recommendations given by the Ministry of Finance.
