One hundred and one corona related deaths have been confirmed in Sri Lanka yesterday.

It is the highest number of deaths reported in a single day in the country and the total number of deaths in the country is 2011.

Sri Lanka is the 5th country in the Asian region to have the highest number of deaths yesterday.

It is also recognised as the 15th deadliest country in the world.
