Oxygen is given to 330 corona patients; 8000 infected in homes severe crisis is ahead.

The Government Medical Officers’ Association (GMOA) says that about 8,000 people with coronavirus are currently at home because they are unable to be referred to treatment centres.

They also point out that about 330 patients with corona infection were dependent on oxygen as of yesterdays report and the number of patients has risen from 149 in 3 days to 330 in four days.

The union warns that the health sector will face a severe crisis and the number of corona patients and deaths is expected to rise in the next few days.

However, the association also said in a statement that only 6,000 beds had been prepared for corona infections.
