People have to sign a consent form only to receive one dose of the Sputnik V vaccine

Statements are being obtained from the people who receive the Sputnik v vaccine only to get the first dose.

People in the area were vaccinated yesterday (31) at Kengalla Maha Vidyalaya, Wattegama, Kandy and at the time, the vaccines were given a separate “consent form”.

A seal affixed to it read, “I would like to receive only the first dose of the Sputnik V vaccine.”

But the accepted expert opinion is that both doses of the covid vaccine should be taken for maximum protection.
