Police are going to question the captain of the burnt ship

Police Media Spokesman Ajith Rohana stated that the captain and crew of the ship that was burnt near the Colombo harbor in Sri Lankan waters will be questioned tomorrow.

He said that the crew of the ship has been placed under quarantine and the quarantine period will end tomorrow.

The Marine Environment Authority (MEA) has complained to the police regarding the damage caused to the ecosystem of Sri Lanka’s territorial waters due to the destruction of the ship.

Accordingly, the crew will be questioned about the incident.
