The daily supply of oxygen to corona infections exceeds 25 metric tons at present and the maximum daily production of energy companies in the country is enough to treat only 800 corona infected patients.
As a result, the Ministry of Health has decided to import 120,000 tons of oxygen on an urgent basis.
However, it has been decided to import oxygen to avoid shortage of oxygen production due to power outages and technical faults.
