Health Minister Pavithra Wanniarachchi should resign from her post, says the Government Medical Officers’ Forum.

Its chairman Dr Rukshan Bellana has sent a written request to President Gotabhaya Rajapaksa and the Minister of Health.

He told a news conference in Colombo that he hopes the minister will resign given the allegations made by his union.
