The Department of Government Information has stated the easing of existing travel restrictions.

Army Commander Shavendra Silva has stated that there will be no removal but a relaxation of the travel restrictions on the 25th.

Only essential service providers, including food and drug stores, will be open on the day. He added that only one person was allowed to leave the house that day to buy the essential items.
