The IGP has issued a special circular stating that those who do not wear masks should not be arrested and taken away.

The circular informs all senior police officers that there is a risk of coronavirus infection in police officers if there are infected people among those being lifted.

It also points out that assembling the detainees in the same vehicle could spread the virus to others.

Therefore, the IGP has instructed not to pick up persons arrested in the future and not to gather in one vehicle.
