The number of deaths due to corona infection is increasing rapidly in the Kesbewa Medical Officer of Health Division, said its Medical Officer of Health, Samanthika Wijesundera.

She said there are currently two corona deaths a day in the area and will rise further next week.

She says the current situation has created a difficult situation even though the district has been locked down.
