Minister of State Dr Channa Jayasumana stated that 50493 Chinese Sinopharm vaccines were given yesterday (May 11)

With that 71203 Sri Lankans have been vaccinated against the Chinese Sinopharm vaccine so far.

So far no significant side effects have been reported from the vaccine, he said.

The vaccination program will continue today (May 12) in selected Medical Officer of Health divisions in the three districts of Colombo, Gampaha and Kalutara.
