PHIs in Badulla on sick leave

The Badulla District Public Health Inspectors Association is on a trade union action today(May 10), reporting sick leave.

The chairman of the district Ranjith Dissanayake stated that the decision was taken due to the inability to make proper arrangements for corona control activities in the district.

He added that although public health inspectors wanted to clarify what duties would be assigned in the process to them, but they had not been notified yet about the process.

He also said that these trade union actions are based on the need to serve the people
