A racket of selling ICU beds for critically ill patients for 27000 per day.

The Government Nurses’ Association states that there is a racket of selling intensive care beds to people suffering from corona infection.

Its chairman, former parliamentarian Saman Rathnapriya, says that a relative of a critically ill patient has been contacted about an intensive care unit for sale at a tourist hotel in the Hikkaduwa area.

He added that the bed costs Rs. 27,000 per day and further details regarding this matter will be revealed in the future.

He made these comments while joining an interview with a youtube channel.
