136 High Flow Oxygen Therapy Units will be brought to the island today(May 08) to provide a high-speeded oxygen supply to corona patients.
Dr. Jayasundera Bandara, Project Director, covid Emergency Response and Health Systems Preparatory Project, said the equipment, which is made in New Zealand, will be procured through India.
The value of the Highflow Oxygen Therapy units is over Rs. 60 million.
