Protests in Vavuniya and Mannar demanding the release of Badurdeen

Protests were organized in Vavuniya and Mannar demanding the immediate release of former minister and leader of the All Ceylon People’s Congress Rishad Badurdeen who had been arrested.

A protest was organized by a group of civilians in the Salambakulam area in Vavuniya while another protest was organized by a group of All Ceylon People’s Congress (ACPC) members in the centre of Mannar.
