More than 40 postal workers infected with corona – 4 major post offices closed

More than 40 postal workers have been infected with the corona, Postal Department reported.

Deputy Post Master General Rajitha Ranasinghe stated that the main post offices in Kompaknga street, Keselwatta, Panadura and Trincomalee have been closed due to this.

Also, 22 sub-post offices had been temporarily closed due to reports of corona infections.

Mr Rajitha Ranasinghe further added that the post offices in the isolated areas are not functioning.
