Sri Lanka should lockdown within the next three days; Association of Public Health Inspectors

If corona infections are reported more than 1,000 for three consecutive days, the spread of corona will get out of control and move just like in India; the Association of Public Health Inspectors said.

Its chairman Upul Rohana states that there is no point in closing the country at the Grama Niladhari division level and that the whole country should be locked down immediately.

He points out that the pandemic is a serious as social outbreak and that only homes are safe place from it and all people who have been going on trips, shopping and partying in recent new year days are still in serious danger.
