The 44th commemoration ceremony of Mr S.J . Selvanayagam ; the founder of the Ilangai Tamil Arusakachchi Party was organized in Jaffna.

The commemoration ceremony was organized near the Selvanayagam statue in Jaffna under the patronage of the present leader of the Ilangai Tamil Arusakachchi Party, Mavai Senathirajah.

Despite the fact that public and private festivals have been banned for two weeks the political leaders had organized the commemoration ceremony.
