The health sector is at its peak as unable to tolerate the infections – the condition is serious in Sri Lanka(GMOA)

If the number of corona infections continues to rise, the health sector will not be able to cope; The Government Medical Officers’ Association (GMOA) stated.

Dr. Prasad Colombage, a member of the village executive committee, said that a serious situation would soon arise in the health sector if the situation was not brought under control.

The country would have to be closed again by imposing travel restrictions, he further added.

It is very important for the people to protect themselves personally and to follow the health advice very carefully he said and he said these while addressing the media in Colombo.
