The body of a male found with multiple cut wounds around the neck near a house on the Galle Road in the Mount Lavinia today.

The Mt. Lavinia Police officers have initiated an investigation upon being alerted about the matter that a person with stab wounds had fallen at the scene.

The deceased has been identified as a 22-year-old male and resident of Mount Lavinia. The deceased body is currently placed at the Colombo South Teaching Hospital in Kalubowila.

The Mount Lavinia Police are conducting futher investigations to arrest the perpetrators
connection with the incident.
