Train derails inside a tunnel in Taiwan

It is reported that around 34 people have died in after a train derailed insid a tunnel in Taiwan.
Train was carrying around 350 passengers when the incident happened.

Taiwan’s Central Emergency Operation centre reported, because four carriages inside the tunnel that are badly damaged rescuers are struggling to access the targeted points.

More than 72 people were found injured and Emergency rescue mechanisms have been put in place for the sick and injured. Rescuing those trapped is the highest priority now as unaffected carriages walking along train tracks with their belongings.

This happened at the beginning of annual Tomb Sweeping festival in Taiwan which is a typically high traffic period.
