The second dose of the AstraZeneca COVID-19 vaccine will be administered from April 19, Minister of Primary Health Care, Epidemics and COVID-19 Disease Control Dr. Sudarshini Fernandopulle said.
The AstraZeneca Covishield vaccine would be given to those who got the same vaccine as the first dose on January 29 Chief Epidemiologist Dr. Sudath Samaraweera said.
Also it is reported that 894,000 people have received first jab in Sri Lanka since January this year.
