Suez Canal reopens and Ships begin sailing through cleared waterway

The Ever given ship which was blocking the Suez river was finally freed by salvage crews.

It was dislodged with the help of dredgers and Tug boats honked their horns in celebration of the achivement.

“Egyptian officials say the backlog of ships waiting to transit through should be cleared in around three days, but experts believe the knock-on effect on global shipping could take weeks or even months to resolve.” BBC

Now it is reoported that Ships have started sailing through Suez Canal again, after a giant container vessel blocking the vital trade route was freed yesterday evening.
