A 44 years old women was arrested with bag full of 8 million worth cash in palmadulla area and she was unable to explain the source of the cash.

Police Spokesman DIG Ajith Rohana states that investigations were conducted on an alert about a suspicious woman who was travelling in a three-wheeler.

Further investigations will be conducted to find out if the money was connected to any criminal activity.
