Hindu Encyclopedia that including all the details about the Hindu religion and its practices were launched by Prime Minister. There were 12 editions of the books. They includes information about hindu religion paractices oaround the globe.
It was compiled by experts from the Hindu religion. Chancellor of the University of Jaffna Professor S. Pathmanathan headed the project.
