The National Child Protection Authority had states that a women has been arrested for beating a child in Jaffna today March 02.

The toddler had beaten at a house in the Ariyalai area in Jaffna. A video footage of the assaultation has being circulated in social medias and captured the attention of the National Child Protection Authority.

Then the women was arrested and child was taken to police custody today. Ariyalai police is doing further investigations on the case.
