According to the information received by the Jaffna Divisional Crime Investigation Unit, a group of its officers had taken steps to arrest this trafficker by using an agent to buy heroin from the suspect. At the time of the suspect’s arrest, along with 05 grams of heroin, the police also found an amount of 75,000 rupees, which was profited from the sale of heroin. It is revealed that the relevant suspect, who was wanted by the police for a long time, is one of the main distributors of heroin in the Jaffna district and the suspect is a resident of Jaffna itself.
