Tooth Relic has been sold to Japan?

The Ravana Lanka National Council says that some say that the Tooth Relic has been sold to Japan. Its chairman Nissanka Mayadunne has questioned whether the real Tooth Relic was a fake or not. He alleges that business activities are being carried out at the Temple of the Tooth and that the lands at the Temple of the Tooth have been fraudulently sold. He also requested the President to conduct a formal inquiry into the matter. He made the remarks during an interview with a youtube channel.

Fuel price could inevitably increase if the loan requests not accepted- Minister Udaya Gammanpila

Energy Minister Udaya Gammanpila said that fuel price could inevitably  rise if the General Treasury does not provide relief, and the loan requested from Oman is not received the corporation can no longer afford it. The ship carrying Chinese fertilizer, which was rejected due to the presence of harmful bacteria, is returning to Sri Lanka from Singapore, says the Samagi Janabalawega.  Addressing the media at the Leader of the Opposition’s office, MP P. He says that the ship is ready to land in Sri Lanka in a few days.

All mobile phone users can transfer their phone number to any other network

All mobile phone users in the country are allowed to use a service that allows them to transfer their phone number to any other network. Director General of the Telecommunications Regulatory Commission Oshadha Senanayake states that legal approval has been granted for this. If 11 innocent children were abducted and killed by Wasantha Karannagoda, he should be punished – Sarath Fonseka

Former Army Commander and Parliamentarian Sarath Fonseka says that if 11 innocent children were abducted and killed when they did not receive the ransom,even if its the Army Commander he should be punished. He further added that Mr. Wasantha Karannageda was the Commander of the Navy at that time and even he was the Army commander at that time, he did not approve of such brutal acts. He also said that he was of the opinion that such workers should be punished. Mr. Fonseka said he would not personally approve of the release or the w withdrawal of the case and if an Army Commander or anyone commits a crime, that person must be punished. He  said this while he was responding to media reports when he visited former MP Ranjan Ramanayake at the Angunakolapelessa Prison.

Rohitha Rajapaksa is entering Sri Lanka cricket?

Several pictures of Prime Minister Mahinda Rajapaksa’s son Rohitha Rajapaksa playing cricket are being shared on social media.  According to media reports, he is preparing to join Cricket. However, Rohitha Rajapaksa has denied the reports saying that he has no intention of joining the cricket administration or playing in the Sri Lanka Premier League. He also says that he is already playing for the St. Thomas Alumni Curriculum Team. Meanwhile, the President of the Kalutara Urban Sports Club states that although Rohitha Rajapaksa trained with his team, he has not yet registered for the team.

Gammanpila-Trade union debate is scheduled today

Attorney-at-Law, Minister of Energy Udaya Gammanpila said that Petroleum unions meet monks and national organizations to spread rumors that he is trying to hand over the oil tanks in Trincomalee to India. After the Minister drew his attention to this matter, at a press conference held on October 11, 2021, he was requested petroleum unions to come to a televised debate with himself without breaking pots in deserted houses and making false propaganda. Also he stated that if the oil unions abled to prove that the minister is wrong in that debate, he will also join the fight to protect their oil tanks with the unions. He further said that if what they are saying is proved to be false, they should apologize to the people for misleading the people by creating false prey. The debate will be televised live on October 14, 2021 at 10:30 pm on the Hiru Balaya program.

Gas prices in the local market will be increase again in a short period of time- Litro Gas

Litro Gas says it will have to increase gas prices in the local market again in a short period of time. The company’s chairman, Thushara Jayasinghe, said it would be difficult to stay stable in the global market without raising prices. He said that there was no need to make false promises to the people that gas prices would be reduced in the future and that he would take necessary steps to bring gas prices under a fixed price.
