The Government Medical Faculty Student Parents’ Association reveals that a clash had arisen in the dormitory due to an attempt by a group of thugs including the son of Arundika Fernando to abduct a fourth-year student of the Ragama Medical Faculty.

Meanwhile, at a press conference today, the Inter University Students Federation (IUSF) alleged that there was an attempt to cover up the incident with the temporary resignation of Arundika Fernando from the post of Minister of State.
