South Korean Speaker to visit the island

The South Korean Speaker has arrived in the island for a four day official visit.

 The Korean Speaker and his delegation arrived in the island on a Singapore Airlines flight last night (19).

South Korean Speaker Park Geun-hye will pay a courtesy call on Speaker Mahinda Yapa Abeywardena.

Minister of Sports Namal Rajapaksa, Minister of Tourism Prasanna Ranatunga and State Minister of Civil Aviation DV Chanaka were also present to welcome the South Korean Speaker and his delegation.

During his visit, South Korean Speaker Park Geun-hye will hold talks with the President, the Prime Minister and other senior government officials, and will also visit the Sri Lankan Parliament.
