The two children in Kotadeniyawa are not sent home but sent to an orphanage

Minuwangoda Magistrate Kesara C. Wijewardena has ordered that the two boys who were found missing for 44 days in Kotadeniyawa be detained at the Makola Orphanage until March 7.

The magistrate ordered the probation officer to submit a full report on the two children aged 10 and 12 on March 7 and after receiving the report, the magistrate said that action would be taken about the two children.

After meeting these children, their mothers refused to go into custody. They have been referred to an orphanage until a solution is found due to the problematic situation regarding the home environment
