The recent Norochcholai thermal power plant problem is still difficult to resolve Due to this the CEB has to go for another power cut.
Accordingly, a 30 minute (half an hour) power cut will be imposed daily from yesterday (11) in selected parts of the island between 6-9.30 pm.
It has been informed that this can be stopped after the repair of a generator at the Norochcholai power plant is completed.
