Convener of the Inter University Students Federation Wasantha Mudalige and five others have been released on bail.
Homagama High Court Judge Nimal Ranaweera today (11) ordered that they be released on two sureties of Rs. 500,000 each after being produced before the Kaduwela Magistrate’s Court.
They were arrested by the police and remanded for 102 days for damaging public property during a protest near the Polduwa Bridge against the Kotelawala Defense College Act.
