Australia beat Sri Lanka by 7 wickets in the Super 12 round match of the Twenty20 World Cup.

Australia were bowled out for 155 in 17 overs with just three wickets in hand.

David Warner scored 65 points. When Warner scored 18, wicketkeeper Kusal Perera was given an easy catch and missed.

The bowler was Chameera Dushmantha. Aaron Finch scored 37 points. Wanindu Hasaranga took 2 wickets for 22 runs. Batting first, Sri Lanka scored 154 for 6 in their 20 overs.

Bhanuka Rajapaksa was unbeaten on 33 runs. Kusal Perera and Charith Asalanka scored 35 runs each. Adam Sampa took 2 wickets for 12 runs.
