BTS leader RM talked about the accusations that their fan base,(ARMY) manipulating the numbers to keep their tracks on the top of the charts while speaking with the billboard magazine.

BTS the South Korean boy band has taken the attention of the whole world with their new tracks and music videos. The band has developed a loyal fanbase called ARMY and they were able to be famous not only in Korea but also international level over the past few years.

They released two songs called Butter and Permission to Dance and the ability to stay at number one on charts in the United States for weeks now.

Surprisingly BTS held the top spots of the Billboard Hot 100 for ten consecutive weeks and Butter stayed in the first position for nine of them fighting with their song Permission to dance.

Because of their massive success, allegations started against the ARMY that they manipulated the numbers by mass buying the song. BTS was asked about these allegations In an interview with Billboard Magazine.

Its leader replied saying,
“It’s a fair question. But if there is a conversation inside Billboard about what being No. 1 should represent, then it’s up to them to change the rules and make streaming weigh more on the ranking. Slamming us or our fans for getting to No. 1 with physical sales and downloads, I don’t know if that’s right. It just feels like we’re easy targets because we’re a boy band, a K-pop act, and we have this high fan loyalty.”

He further said that” I don’t think we could ever be part of the mainstream in us and I don’t want it either. Our ultimate goal is to do a massive stadium tour there. That’s it. answering the question of whether they join the US mainstream.

Their fans were so touched by RMs bold reactions and they were sharing that this action has proved that BTS and ARMYs strong connection and they have to stay strong together to protect each other.

Also, they were so proud of RM proving that he is the best leader in history.

ARMYs were furious about this question and they were sharing their thoughts to comfort their boy band.
