Cabinet Spokesman Dr Ramesh Pathirana says it is difficult to consider closing the country as the only answer to controlling the spread of the corona virus.

He said the United States and England had closed their country for months, but that the virus would spread further after reopening.

Therefore, it is difficult to consider closing the country as the only answer to the spread of the virus, he said. He further stated that the government has taken all necessary steps at this juncture.
