The government is preparing to get the oxygen needed by the corona infected people in Sri Lanka from China.
It has been decided to obtain oxygen from China as a safe stock as the amount of binary oxygen required for corona infections exceeds 45,000 liters.
The consignment is expected to be 120,000 liters. Meanwhile, the Ministry of Health states that the hospital in the Western Province is overflowing with corona infections and some hospitals have had to stop accepting patients.
