A person who received both doses of Sinopharm injection has died of a corona infection.

A 73-year-old man has died while receiving treatment at the Karapitiya Teaching Hospital.

 He had been suffering from a foot ailment for about a year and had taken the first dose on May 29 and the second dose on June 28.

He was later admitted to the Karapitiya Hospital due to an increase in mucus. It was revealed that he was infected with the coronavirus.
